Notice Something Different

Annika make look like your ordinary average almost 6 year old. That of course is what she wants to clear up. If you look at the picture, you will see a new sparkley addition to her ears. Yes, that is right, she was very brave and decided to take advantage of an early birthday present. She did have to clean her room, which is meticulous (we will see if that last more than a day). She got nervous and the lady who did her ears said that if it hurt, Annika could kick her. Well it did hurt and she took the sales lady up on her offer. All was good once she saw the earrings. She is playing up the sore ear drama if I ask her to do something - "Oh, my ears hurt too bad to put on my jammies. I may bump them." Things like that. I am not falling for it. Trevor put up with all of the waiting and gave sister a nice big hug. He also got a few lollipops from the sales lady so he would behave. A run around the cootie pit and some Orange Juliuses and a look at all of the silly mutt breeds they have at our pet store and that rounded up our earring trip.

And yes, earrings have been added to the birthday list....

Trevor had a birthday cupcake for Daddy on his birthday. He pretty much ate the icing and left the cake. It was a fun mess to clean up.

I didnt take any pics this week so I thought I would put up a fairly recent one of all of us. Not the greatest photo, but you have to love Trevor's silly face and Annika's lovely smile. I promise to take pictures this weekend and give you some new

Well Trevor hit a milestone this week. He had his first trip to the ER. He jumped off of his stool in the bathroom and while watching himself jump, bumped his chin on the sink. All would have been fine except that his tongue was in the way. So after we finally dragged Annika out of bed, we spent the next 6 hours (mostly wait) to have his tongue stitched up. 3 stitches in all. Of course nothing phased him and after a good night sleep he continued to jump off of everything in sight. His babysitter had to finally give up chasing him around. He is ok though, just a new and interesting scar to brag about. Posted by Picasa
