More 5 year old God insight

So last night while at the Murphy's for Connor's bday, Trevor and Ian had a very interesting conversation about God. I pulled a few tidbits for enjoyment.

Ian: "So what does God wear a shirt?"
T: "Yes"
T: "God can do lightening"
T: "God can glow in the dark"
T: "God can breathe in outerspace"
T: "God is alive because he is strong, he is just like Superman"

Ian was completely intrigued. I am waiting for Trevor to ask me if there is a God movie. "Oh God" with George Burns would probably be disappointing. Trevor would tell me that it cant be right because God doesnt look like Grandpa.

Philosophical Question

Trevor does not generally ask a lot of questions unrelated to Superheros, Star Wars or why he cant do things. However, this weekend we attended my aunt's seder and Trevor asked his dad a pretty interesting question. Nothing related to the seder or the prayers or why we we doing anything. Nothing about why we had to wait to eat dinner until so late or what the heck everyone was reading about. No asking about what Passover was.

"Daddy, Does God have a beard?"

I guess he is trying to figure out either how to picture God in his head or if the picture of God from Monty Python's Holy Grail is realistic.
