Family Picture

No, not a picture of the actual family. Trevor brought this home and it had extra people. Needless to say I was wondering where these other brother and sisters were coming from. No, we are not planning on creating any for him. They became various people during our conversation, but in the end they are as follows:

Annika's friend Stori, Mommy, Trevor, Auntie, Daddy and Annika.

Other people who were assigned people in the picture are: Annika's friends Trey and Samantha. I am sure in the next few days, they will all be completely different people.

First Day of School

First day of kindergarden for the big boy. He had a great time. He made new friends, whose names he cannot remember. His teacher Ms. Gagich is super. He does remember that he needs to keep his dear teacher happy!!!

Annika started the year finding her friends and immediately no longer needing parentals around. Her teacher Ms. Hedrick is very well liked by Annika. She especially likes how Ms. Hedrick uses soccer penalty rules in the classroom - lets home Annika doesnt get a yellow card!

Trevor was a bit sad that he had to go back every day this week, but I am sure he will get adjusted soon.

P.S. Trevor had homework and Annika did not. Trevor did not think that was cool or awesome - his words...

Makutu Island or (how to wear out your kids with little or no work).

Makutu Island is one of those kids cootie pit places that are super germy and have a million kids running around and screaming. This oversized cootie pit is actually super awesome. It has all types of slides, tunnels, things to climb, zip lines and bridges. There are also lots of benches of said parents to just sit back and watch their kids run ragged for a few hours. This is mostly what I did for the 3 hours we were there. It is also big enough to have the kids drag their parents all over it. I did go down the super twisty slide numerous times. Annika and Trevor were simply dripping with sweat from so much running and sliding and climbing. The kids had a great time and of course spent alot of time asking when we are going back. Very tired kids at home now. Have to make sure not to give them sugar to pep them back up...

This had crazy slides all over it. Also and elevated mesh tube the kids could climb through to get to the Huge Tree full of other climbing options. Did I mention this is elevated 20 feet in the air?

This is the mesh tube. Not the scariest thing. There is also a bridge that is about 30 feet up over the tops of our heads. They loved that.
