Don't Water the Grass

Trevor spends his days while I am at work at the wonderful house of Nana. I went to pick him and Annika up yesterday (she is off from school) and heard a funny story. Apparently Trevor was a little embarrassed. I picked him up and he buried his face in my neck as I heard the story. This is unusual since Trevor is almost never embarrassed by his or other people's behavior (you have to love 3 year olds) After lunch, the went out to play and Trevor asked Nana if he could go on the grass. She said of course you can and went in the house to get one of the little ones. Suddenly heard all of the older kids yelling and screaming Trevor's name. Holy Crap!!! What could have happened in 2 minutes??? She ran out to see Trevor standing there, pants dropped, peeing in the grass. "Trevor, we dont pee in the grass - go inside!!" to which Trevor replied - "Well I am all done now!!" Apparently, Trevor needs to be more specific about "going" in the grass...

Very funny. I think it's so sweet that he asked first. I love it when words mean totally different things to different people.

When your mother took me to Europe many, many centuries ago when the world and I were both young... we saw a famous statue in Brussels (similar to the one pictured) called Mannekin Pis. http://www.manneken-pis.com/intro.html

Wonderful. The free spirit of yet another child, crushed in an instant. :)

Classic Trevor-that is a great story!
I can just imagine the uproar though.
