All kids love getting a new bike. Even in these iPod, XBox, Nintendo DS world they are in, no child can resist the idea of getting a new bike. It is one of the more simple things that make kids still kids. Ok, I do realize there are bikes with shocks and mini engines and things that I cant name because I dont know the purpose, but lets just pretend that all kids have normal foot powered bikes. Annika out grew her old bike. After scouring craigslist, we found the perfect bike for her - Not girly, not pink, no frilly streamer things.
The great blue schwinn bike with stars on the seat. She loves it and goes riding (with no training wheels - see earlier blog entry), just about every morning with Daddy and Trevor.
Makes me want to get a new bike. I guess I had better hit craigslist myself for a similar, larger non-girly bike.
