Hooray for birthdays!!! Excuse to make awesomely cool cakes. We had a very relaxing birthday for Rick's big day. Lots of laying on the sofa. Trevor got Daddy the IronMan movie so we watched that. Annika gave him a new Leatherman multi-tool and was amazed on how many tools fit all folded up on one. We had a nice dinner followed by Guitar Cake! Thanks to Annika for helping. All in all, I hope my Rick had a great birthday, with very many more to follow. We love you sweetie.

Agggh! I missed Rick's Birthday! Belated Happy Birthday, Rick! Bad Aunt Kathie! I'm all consumed with renovations and the whole rest of the world has slipped away from my consciousness. Glad it was a good day! May it be a good year, too.
